2018 Fort Worth Invitational Expert Picks and Tournament Preview

Fort Worth Invitational LogoPreviously known as the Crowne Plaza Invitational and the DEAN & DELUCA Invitational, the tournament once again has a name change to the Fort Worth Invitational. Although the name has changed, the tournament is still recognized as The Colonial and the winner also still gets to don a Scottish tartan plaid jacket.

The Fort Worth Invitational is one of only 5 PGA Tour events that are given the “Invitational” status and so the field is a smaller one at 120 players. Played at the Colonial Country Club, it is annually listed as one of America’s Top 100 golf courses and is also known as the House of Hogan. Players – especially those from Texas, cherish an invite to the Colonial Tournament and a new title sponsor will hopefully keep this great tournament a continuing success.
