2020 ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP Sleeper Picks and Tournament Preview

ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP LogoA newer tournament hits the PGA Tour with the ZOZO Championship. This was the first ever sanctioned PGA Tour event in Japan and became part of the Asian leg of the schedule with the WGC-HSBC Championship in China and the CJ Cup in Korea.

Because of regulations in Japan, the tournament has been moved for the 2020 year to Sherwood Country Club in California as part of a 3 tournament west coast swing so this is basically to be looked at as a brand new tournament for DFS fantasy golf players and golf bettors.

This is a small event with only 78 players but with the Top 60 players from last year's FedEx Cup standing being invited you know that each year will have a strong field competing.

Our ZOZO Championship Sleeper Picks are below so keep reading!

2020 ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP Tournament Preview

Some of the hardest tournaments to make picks for and find sleeper picks for are new tournaments and once again we have a new one to examine for expert golf picks. The good news is that some of the biggest names have already committed to playing the ZOZO Championship so picking sleepers will be easier with a smaller field.

As with any new event, daily fantasy golf players are at a disadvantage with no course history info to do research with so looking at guys that are playing well right now is a good strategy to focus on. There are a handful of golfers that have played at Sherwood in the past but it is a relatively unknown course to many. The smart fantasy golf DFS players will look at what Sal at GolfStats has to say. We, and everyone else that joined had a very profitable year using their picks and we rely on GolfStats for new tournaments like this to give us an edge on other guys relying on their "skill". Take advantage of his DraftKings fantasy picks and get a year long membership to the site. We'll even save you some money if you use GolfStats Coupon Code GOLFBONUS! If you haven't joined GolfStats yet...you probably haven't won as much as you could have!

2020 ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP Fantasy Golf Picks Info

With new tournaments there are a lot of unknowns and even the best players in the world can look lost playing on a course that they have never seen. For choosing sleeper picks, look at some of the players that have experiece playing at Sherwood CC and may be familiar with the golf course to gain a bit of an edge on some of the more popular golfers. FYI - Dustin Johnson holds thr course record at 61 shot playing privately.

Why you need expert picks for the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP

The ZOZO Championship is a new tournament on the PGA Tour schedule and is played in Japan (this year in Sherwood CC in California) so there is little information about it for fantasy golf players to lean on. There will be some names that are playing that you won't have ever heard about so you may need to do a ton of research to find your sleeper picks...Or you can sign up to GolfStats.com and use their expert fantasy golf picks and research to create your winning fantasy golf lineups. Don't forget to use the GolfStats Coupon Code GOLFBONUS to get a bonus offer when you join for a full year membership!

2020 ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP Fantasy Golf Sleeper Picks

Adam Hadwin - He’s on my sleeper list because of how cheap he is at DraftKings this week. Even though it’s a no cut event, Hadwin has been playing well and should finish better in the standings than many of the others that are priced higher than him.

Lanto Griffin - A strong 7th place finish last week for a guy that is a solid iron player. The Sherwood course is one that good iron players will do well at and his above average putting should keep him in the conversation as a sleeper pick this week.
