2021 3M Open Expert Picks and Tournament Preview
The 3M Open PGA Tournament is a newer tournament on the schedule having debuted in 2019 although it's been around for a while as the 3M Championship on the PGA Champions (seniors) Tour. It has been played at the TPC Twin Cities since 2001 so the only guys that would have any inside track on the course are the guys that play occasionally on the Champions Tour and have played the 3M Championship.
Nevertheless, 3M has a 7 year sponsorship agreement with the PGA Tour so Minnesota after decades of waiting once again has the PGA Tour as a home tournament.

2021 3M Open Tournament Preview
The 3M Open is being played the week after the Open Championship and right before the Olympics. It won't have a stellar field of golfers but a few names have committed to play such as Sergio Garcia, Rickie Fowler, Louis Ooosthuizen and Jason Dufner. It is generally regarded as an easier course to score on and Tom Lehman who took over for the late Arnold Palmer had to add about 500 yards to the course to make it a bit tougher. Last year saw a winning score of -19 and the cut line at -4 so it's easy to say that there are scoring opportunities at TPC Twin Cities and that it is still a pretty easy course.
