2021 Masters Fantasy Golf Picks

It’s finally here…the Masters Tournament!

Masters Fantasy Golf PicksThe most popular golf tournament in the world, the one that PGA Tour golfers covet and work towards winning. Traditions abound with the green jacket, the par 3 contest, the white jumpers that caddies wear, the Hogan Bridge and traditional pin placements. It is the first golf major of the year and the one that starts the schedule off for some of the best golf of the year.

If you are playing fantasy golf then you’ve been following the PGA Tour week in and week out since the fall of last year but the big money tournaments for DFS start now with the 2021 Masters. Both DraftKings and FanDuel have their biggest golf contests of the year and now is the time to get real about making some money!

Fantasy golf picks for the Masters can be easy to make since there are some guys whose eyes light up at Augusta and each year have great finishes. The golfers below are guys that each have a great chance of winning the 2021 Masters but aren’t the favorites to win the Masters. We expect all these guys to make the cut and be near the top of the leaderboard. They all have a legit chance to win but even if they don’t win the Masters…your DFS lineup should do well and cash in a bunch of winnings.

Because these are more second tier guys as opposed to the top salary cap guys at DFS sites, you can get 2-3 of them into a lineup along with 2-3 sleeper picks for the Masters to create a winning lineup. Don't forget to get a bunch of lineups in for the Fantasy Golf Millionaire and take a shot at winning the $1 Million cash prize that is offered for each of the 4 golf majors. The 2021 Masters is the first of them and the best time to start!

Masters Fantasy Golf Picks

Collin Morikawa – In just two years Morikawa has 3 wins which include a World Golf Championship and a PGA Championship. He got his first taste of Augusta last fall in finished in 44th. Ranked in the Top 5 in the world, he won’t be a cheap fantasy golf pick but definitely one that you can build many lineups around.

Cameron Smith – Smith is 4-4 at Augusta with two Top 5 finishes including a T2 last year. Smith has played really well this year and winning the 2021 Masters shouldn’t be a shock given how well he is playing. I had too many other good names on the Favorites to Win the Masters page but he will be in a bunch of my lineups this week at both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Jordan Spieth – The Masters may just be coming up for Spieth at just the right time. A past winner that in his earlier days simply dominated Augusta before his last few years of mediocre golf play. However, with three Top 5 finishes in Feb/March Spieth may just be ready to take a legit shot at another green jacket. I originally would have pegged Jordan as a sleeper pick but with how he’s played lately, the odds makers have him listed more as a favorite for the Masters. No matter what, he makes a great fantasy golf pick for your lineups this week!

Hideki Matsuyama – In the good ole days of DFS golf I used to put Matsuyama in every one of my lineups for the DraftKings Fantasy Golf Millionaire because he was always a cheap salary cap cost and always did well in the majors. The shine has come off Hideki a bit and he is no longer a cheap DFS pick but he still a good one. He finished in 13th at Augusta last year and always seems to be close to breaking out when playing there. His game is well suited for the Masters and I do believe he is one that will eventually have a green jacket in his closet.

Xander Schauffele – Xander is having a great year in 2021 with five Top 5 finishes on the season. He is 3-3 at the Masters and finished in 2nd there two years ago. Although there are more popular names that people will focus on this week, don’t sleep on Schauffele!
