Who Will Win the 2021 Masters Tournament

Who Will Win the 2021 Masters TournamentSeems like only yesterday we were writing about who will win the Masters Tournament…Mind you it was just in November that the last Masters was played so that could be the reason.

Regardless, we are back at Augusta in its usual place on the PGA Tour schedule in April and the perfect course conditions, the beautiful flowers and the greener than green grass will light up our big screen TV’s!

Every year we do up our who will win the Masters page and we’ve come close to making the final pick but ultimately one of our other picks have come through, either on the Sleeper Picks Page or the Fantasy Favorites Picks page. At least we know that somewhere on one of our pages, we have picked the winner of the Masters so check out all the pages we have since we’ve been right about one of them every year over the last 7 years.

We use all of our picks in playing in the DraftKings Fantasy Golf Millionaire and make multiple lineups every year. We haven’t hit the $1 Million prize but we have managed some nice finishes over the years and made more in our cash games. Check out the Current Masters Betting Odds

Rory McIlroy – (Odds to Win - 12-1) – When will Rory win the Masters? Not if…when! 6 out of his last 7 finishes at Augusta have been top 10 finishes and he has come close to winning a few times. He needs a green jacket to finish off his career slam. He’s still a threat to win every tournament he’s in so it makes sense that he is a favorite to win this week.

Justin Thomas – (Odds to Win - 11-1) - As we mentioned in our early favorites page, Thomas has improved each year he’s played at Augusta. We picked him to win last year and he finished in 4th. Thomas is already a major winner and is another guy that should be looked at as a solid pick to win when he plays the Masters.

Patrick Cantlay – (Odds to Win - 22-1) – Cantlay has had a great year so far with a win, a 2nd and a 3rd (both of which were almost wins. Two top 20’s in his last appearances at Augusta and you have a recipe for someone to win his first major. Cantlay has a great overall game and it fits well with Augusta National.

Dustin Johnson – (Odds to Win - 7-1) - The defending champion will be the obvious choice to win this week even though in the last 50 + years only two guys (Faldo and Woods) have won back to back Masters Tournaments. Of course I think DJ can win this week but I am going on the side of history and say he doesn’t. I had him as my runner up pick on the who will win page in November but alas I chose someone else instead.

Jordan Spieth – (Odds to Win - 14-1) –  Spieth is always a solid pick for the Masters and although he’s scuffled a bit over the last two years there is something about how he is playing this year that makes me think that he has a legit shot at winning a 2nd green jacket. Odd makers believe it as well having him listed as one of the favorites at 14-1. I don’t make a lot of bets to win outright but I am putting a bit down at those odds this week!

Jon Rahm – (Odds to Win - 10-1) – Working on 3 straight Top 10 finishes at the Augusta, Rahm is on the hunt for his first career major and always in in the running at the Masters. He did well at the WGC Match Play against the best of the best and that just helps bolster why he could win this week too.

Xander Schauffele – (Odds to Win - 18-1) - Xander came close to winning the Masters in 2019 coming in 2nd and then just in November finished in 17th. I like Schauffle’s game and I do believe that he will be a multiple majors winner in his career. He definitely can win this week although I have to choose someone else as this week’s winner.

And the winner of the 2021 Masters Tournament is…

Justin ThomasJustin Thomas – (Odds to Win - 11-1) – We picked Thomas to win back in November and he came in 4th. He won just a few ago at the PLAYERS Championship and has four Top 5 finishes this season. I can maek a case for each guy above to win this week but I am going to put some cash down on Thomas at Intertops to win the 2021 Masters Tournament.
